EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - A California Highway Patrol officer is recovering from a dog bite suffered at a homeless camp along Interstate 8 in El Cajon Tuesday.

The officer was investigating the camp near the Magnolia Ave. onramp at 10:15 a.m. when he was bitten, the CHP said.
