SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego deputies have arrested a man they believe shot another man at an Imperial Beach intersection this week.
Osvaldo Lopez, 35, was arrested Tuesday for the murder of 30-year-old Ricardo Sales, San Diego Sheriff's Department (SDSO) said in a Friday release.
Lopez, who lives in Spring Valley, was arrested without incident in the 9000 block of Towne Center Drive in San Diego by SDSO homicide detectives and San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force officers.
Lopez has been booked into San Diego Central Jail and charged with one count of murder. He is being held without bail.
SDSO deputies said Lopez is believed to have shot Sales on Nov. 14 shortly after 6 p.m. near the intersection of Dorax Avenue and Florence Street in Imperial Beach.
Multiple people witnessed the attack, deputies said. Authorities did not say if a motive in the slaying had been established.
