ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV)--An Alpine woman was arrested in connection with a man found dead from an apparent gunshot wound Tuesday evening, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Angela Meza, 47, of Alpine was arrested and will be booked into Las Colinas Detention Center for murder, officials said.
A call of a suicidal man was received by the Sheriff's communication center yesterday at 6:35 p.m.
When deputies arrived they found an unresponsive 42-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound inside the residence located at 31 Viejas Grade Road near Willows Road.
Despite paramedic's attempts to revive the victim, officials said he died at the scene.
