SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A burglar is targeting apartment buildings in the Park West and Cortez Hill neighborhoods of San Diego, Crime Stoppers said Friday.
The first break-in was Sept. 9 about 2:30 a.m. at the complex on 2665 5th Ave., police said. The man forced his way into a garage, then entered an office. He took a laptop and an Amazon package, officials said.
The man targeted the Aria condo complex on 9th Ave. in Cortez Hill on Sept. 13 and Sept. 22. Police said the man entered the parking garage as vehicles entered or exited. The man used bolt cutters to damage bike locks, stealing several bicycles.

Police said the man is white or Hispanic, 35 to 45 years old, 180 to 200 pounds, and bald. He has a distinctive faded red hat which appears to have the letters BUBS on the front and a black SDSU zip-front hoodie.
