SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Utility crews responded to a ruptured natural gas line in the Mission Hills area that forced road closures and a shelter-in-place order at a nearby school.

The gas leak was reported shortly after 10 a.m. in the 1000 block of Fort Stockton Drive, near Hawk Street.

Due to the repair effort, Saint Vincent de Paul School (4077 Ibis Street) is keeping students and staff indoors as a precaution, according to a San Diego police spokesperson.
