SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man was found dead Wednesday morning as firefighters battled a house fire in the Rolando area.
Authorities say the fire broke out at a home in the 4600 block of Revillo Way shortly after 6:30 a.m.
Responding firefighters entered the house, pulled a man from the structure and performed CPR at the scene.
He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, 10News learned.
Firefighters took about 15 minutes to douse the flames.
Neighbors told 10News the man, who they referred to as Bob, lived alone.
The blaze is under investigation.
