SAN DIEGO – A woman who flipped her car on State Route 125 in Spring Valley overnight Tuesday refused to crawl out of the vehicle without her dog.
Sometime before 2 a.m. Wednesday, a woman slammed into a guardrail on SR-125 near Jamacha Road, flipping the car onto its side and leaving a mangled wreck.
California Highway Patrol officers responded and attempted to pull the woman out of her car. However, she refused to come out without her dog. She eventually hopped out, while an officer searched the vehicle and found the dog, reuniting it with its owner.
The woman and dog were not seriously hurt. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
