EL CERRITO, Calif. (KGTV)--It started off strange. Then Katherine Sasseen got creeped out.
Late Monday afternoon, Sasseen and her husband put out a bike with the sign "free" next to it and went for a 45-minute walk.
When they got back, they found the bike gone, replaced by another bike and two duffel bags.
In the backyard, she found a stranger sitting on her futon.
He told her he was just waiting to make sure the bike she left out with the "free" sign was in fact free. She got him to leave and then made the upsetting discovery: her home broken into and items missing.
