An early morning carjacking in San Ysidro is being investigated by San Diego police Saturday.
It happened shortly before 2 a.m. at 333 E. San Ysidro Blvd., when a man was accosted while getting into his pickup truck, San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings said.
A man and a woman pulled the victim from a red, 1998 Dodge Dakota and drove off toward a freeway, Jennings said.
The suspects were described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, wearing a gray jacket and tan pants, and a Hispanic woman in her 30s.
The truck had a California license plate with the number 5Y02197. The San Diego Police Robbery Unit is handling the investigation.
