Country singer Jason Aldean visited Las Vegas shooting victim from Carlsbad

(KGTV) - The Carlsbad man who was shot and injured in Las Vegas had a surprise visit last weekend from country singer Jason Aldean in the hospital.

Zack Mesker and his girlfriend Lauren Kyander were at the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert when the shooting started. Mesker told his girlfriend to run before he was shot.

On Sunday, Jason Aldean and his wife went to the hospital in Las Vegas to meet the young couple.

Kyander said she and Mesker spoke with Jason Aldean for 15 minutes.

Aldean’s wife also posted about the return to Las Vegas on her Instagram account.
