SAN DIEGO -- How much do you pay for car insurance? Do you feel like it's too much?

According to The Zebra, a company that compares insurance quotes for consumers, San Diego's car insurance rates have climbed 31.7% over the past five years. They're up 6.4% just from 2015.

The 10 zip codes in our area that pay the most for car insurance (annual premiums):

  • 92135 (San Diego) - $1,720
