NATIONAL CITY, Calif. – A man and woman were injured after a vehicle they were riding in slammed into a truck that was pulling a car hauler in National City early Wednesday morning.
At about 3:30 a.m., a car carrying two people was traveling west on Miles of Cars Way when it T-boned a semi-truck as it was turning left onto Interstate 5 north. The truck was carrying a load of cars.
The impact sent the driver’s head smashing through the windshield of his car. Both he and his female passenger were conscious when they were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not confirmed.
The truck driver, who was not hurt, told 10News the car ran a red light. National City Police are investigating.
