A South Bay teacher is accused of distributing child pornography, but his brother told 10News that had nothing to do with it.

"He would be disgusted by it," Ricardo Sandoval said as he stood outside the Logan Heights home raided by the FBI last week.

According to a complaint filed in federal court, Roberto Sandoval is accused of distributing images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The complaint describes five images involving a 9-year-old girl and a dog. The images were traced back to Roberto Sandoval's IP address, according to the complaint.

While executing a search warrant at the home Sandoval shares with his mother and 7-year old daughter, agents say they found two of those images on his desktop computer. An external hard drive allegedly held numerous images of young girls in various stages of undress.

Sandoval's brother told 10News the Sweetwater Union High School music teacher didn't do it.

"I know for a fact that he's innocent because he bought a computer from eBay and somehow, somebody set him up," Ricardo Sandoval said.

He did not say who or why someone would set his brother up.

Roberto Sandoval is on paid administrative leave from the Chula Vista High School Learning Center. He has been an employee of the Sweetwater Union High School District for 15 years. There is nothing to suggest any of his students were involved in any way.

10News checked Sandoval's teaching credentials and they are current. No criminal record was found.

Sandoval is due back in federal court Feb. 18.
