CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - The McGrady family in Chula Vista keeps getting birthday surprises – of the wrong kind
Last week, Stacie McGrady says she got a birthday card in her locking mailbox. It was a birthday card for her teenage son. She says the bottom of was partially sliced, enough for someone to reach in and grab the $50 bill her uncle had sent to her son.
In December, the same uncle sent her mother a birthday card to the same home on Plaza Amistad. She says that card had the same slice o the bottom. and was also missing a $50 dollar bill.
After the most recent incident, she filed a complaint with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, sparking an investigation.
