Bill Clinton holds free rally in Balboa Park

SAN DIEGO -- Former President Bill Clinton will attend an event in Balboa Park Wednesday to campaign on behalf of his wife, Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
He is expected to discuss why she "is the best candidate to raise wages and break down all the barriers holding families back," according to event organizers. The 10:15 a.m. rally at the Balboa Park Club on Pan American Road West is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9 a.m. Anyone interested in attending can register here.
  
The 42nd President of the United States and former governor of Arkansas is campaigning for Hillary Clinton ahead of the California primary election June 7. Early voting begins next week.
  
Clinton will visit Los Angeles this afternoon to rally support for his wife's presidential campaign at the Garden Suite Hotel in Koreatown. He is also scheduled to deliver the commencement address at Loyola Marymount University on Saturday.
