A bicyclist was struck and killed by a car in Mission Valley Thursday evening.
San Diego police responded to Friars Road and Rio Bonito Way just after 8:30 p.m.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while San Diego police conduct their investigation.
