San Diego police worked with Los Angeles County sheriff's officials to break up an alleged dog fighting ring in Linda Vista Wednesday.
According to authorities, nine dogs were rescued from the operation at a home on Westinghouse Street.

Authorities also seized cash and drugs -- including meth, marijuana and HGH -- from the home.
10News learned dogs were being bred at the home and sold for up to $80,000.
