Alleged dog fighting ring busted in Linda Vista

San Diego police worked with Los Angeles County sheriff's officials to break up an alleged dog fighting ring in Linda Vista Wednesday.

According to authorities, nine dogs were rescued from the operation at a home on Westinghouse Street.

 

San Diego Police worked with the LA Sheriff's Dept to bust a dog fighting ring in Linda Vista. This video shows one of 9 dogs involved in the ring and you can see scars all over his face. Officers and deputies also recovered cash and drugs including meth, marijuana and HGH.

Authorities also seized cash and drugs -- including meth, marijuana and HGH -- from the home.

10News learned dogs were being bred at the home and sold for up to $80,000.
