SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Airline travelers took to social media on Friday to air concerns over system outages impacting their travel plans.
American Airlines and smaller carriers Alaska Airlines and JetBlue were impacted. The root of the problem was reportedly a glitch in a reservations system called Sabre.
Sabre later sent a Tweet advising that its systems had recovered.
Systems have recovered. All efforts made for rapid resolution so our customers and travelers can quickly return to plans & normal operations
