SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 4.7 earthquake struck the Central California city of Gonzales Monday.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake at 11:31 a.m., 22 kilometers northeast of the city in Monterey County.
The quake was 6.2 km deep. It was followed by aftershocks measuring 2.8 and 2.7 about an hour later.
