CAMPO (CNS) - A man died as his car careened into a tree on the Campo Indian Reservation early Sunday.
It happened just before 5 a.m. along state Route 94 near Church Road, according to the California Highway Patrol -- just south of the Campo Reservation fire station.
The man, a 20-year-old Campo resident, was behind the wheel of a 2013 Honda Civic when the crash occurred, the CHP said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
