EL CAJON - A 10-year-old was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in El Cajon Friday.
Heartland Fire crews responded to the call of a child being hit by a vehicle at Madison Avenue and Orlando Street just before 4:30 p.m.
The child was transported to a nearby hospital. The severity of the child's injuries was not released.
