Do you have a birthday? Of course you do. So Walmart wants to give you a free cupcake.
Walmart has declared March 12 as everyone's birthday as part of their "Best Birthday Ever" event. Yes, everyone. To celebrate, the retail giant will be giving out a free cupcake each person at their Supercenter locations from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Customers do not need to have a special coupon or identification. Simply show up and choose between chocolate or vanilla with buttercream or whipped topping.
Walmart expects to give away nearly 3 million cupcakes during the event, 118,000 cupcakes alone in California, according to Walmart spokesperson Michelle Malashock.
Sunday is also Daylight Saving Time, so don't oversleep and miss out on the free birthday treat.
