Possum, a 7-month-old Domestic Short Hair, is waiting for a patient new home. This sweet kitten was brought into the Humane Society's care in August after being attacked by a wild animal. He had a bit of a rough start, but his medical team quickly got him on the road to recovery. Due to his injuries, he unfortunately had to lose one of his back legs, and will need to be an indoor only cat in his new home. He can be very shy and nervous with new people at first, but with a bit of patience, he will come out of his shell. His foster mom says he is a very playful and talkative boy who loves to sleep in her bed every night. Due to his initial timidness, Possum would do best in a quiet home with adults only, preferably with another friendly cat companion for him to play with!
His adoption fee includes his neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, 30 days of worry-free medical insurance from Trupanion Insurance, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam!
