A one-day pass to the San Diego Zoo includes a guided bus tour, Kangaroo Express bus, Skyfari aerial tram, and all regularly scheduled shows.
Price for an adult (12 & older) is $52 and $42 for a child (3–11).
Featured shows include Bugs and Grubs with Dr. Zoolittle, New Friends Rock!, Funky Monkeys, and Rio 4-D (with one-day pass plus).

The Living Coast Discovery Center helps to connect people with San Diego's ecosystem by exploring coastal animals, plants, and habitats.
During the summer are day camps for children pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.
LIONS TIGERS & BEARS RANCH
Experience what it's like to care for and rescue exotic animals.
Lions Tigers & Bears ranch is 93 acres and is located just outside of Alpine, with a barn, farm animal encounter area, and nine habitats for their big cats and bears.
By appointment only, you can take a guided tour by becoming a "Member-for-a-Day," which costs $33/38 for an adult, kids cost $12.
Some of the animals on site include bears, bobcats, leopards, horses, llamas, and mountain lions. Schedule a visit on their website.
