SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Get ready to scream, San Diego.
Del Mar's Scream Zone returns to haunt San Diego Friday, Sept. 29, and runs on 24 select dates through Oct. 31.
The Scream Zone promises to be one of "goriest, scariest, and screaming-est fright fests" around town this season, featuring "The House of Horror," "The Haunted Hayride," "Karnevil," and "The Running Dead" attractions.

If you're too timid to enter the attractions, guests are welcomed to enter The Scream Zone for free and wait for others or hang out among food vendors, photo opportunities, and a special Spirit Lounge Bar. Parking is also free for visitors.

- September 29 - 30
- October 5 - 8, 11 - 15, 18 - 22, and 24 - 31
- Fridays and Saturdays - 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
- Sundays thru Thursdays - 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Scares
The House of Horror - Enter room after room of frightening surprises and visuals, from utter darkness to a hoard of clowns.
The Haunted Hayride - Guests take a wagon ride through the night surrounded by zombies, clowns, and other wicked characters.
Karnevil - A trailer park full of clowns and carnival of freaky and weird characters await to terrify and disorient guests.
The Running Dead - Lace up your shoes and run for your life through an obstacle course challenge testing your agility, speed, and nerve as your race your friends and the undead.
