BALBOA PARK, Calif. (KGTV) - Looking for something family friendly this weekend? Try the San Diego Maker Faire at Balboa Park.
The event runs Oct. 7-8th, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The event showcases more than 250 local and regional makers whose inventions range from drones and 3D printers, to fire breathing robots.

There is also a plethora of activities for the kids like Bruce Thompson's 'How To Make A Puppet' booth where kids can create and perform their own puppets.
