SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Poway High School seniors Josie Allen and Chelsea Lomicka have been friends forever.

The two Titans have known each other for 15 years, from kindergarten to the twelfth grade. Both girls say it's a friendship that's timeless.

"No matter what comes our way, life is never going to change. I would describe it as really special and unique, because it's not something everybody gets to experience in life," says Lomicka.

Allen calls the friendship one of a kind.

"I would describe it as more of a sisterhood, and it's definitely something that not everyone gets the chance to have," Allen said.

Throughout the years, they have enjoyed dressing up as twins for school functions. They have competed on the same athletic teams, and have even teamed up in school talent shows. Both girls also say going to church together, has really helped them grow.

"Growing up in the church with my best friend has been amazing because we've been able to be a support system for each other and help each other grow in our faith," Allen said.

But due to coronavirus, these best friends may not get the opportunity to share in such dreams as going to prom, as well as graduation.

"Of course it's been disappointing, and kind of hard to process because it's something we've waited our whole lives for. We're definitely staying positive and really hopeful will get to finish out this year," says Lomicka.
