SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The "If You Give a Child a Book: Story Time" program stopped at Los Peñasquitos Elementary School in Poway in March.
10News anchor Jared Aarons spent the morning reading to second and third grade students. The kids not only learned more about the joy of reading, but they also received five free books through the initiative.
10News brings free books to kids every month, thanks to money from the Scripps Howard Foundation, Island Credit Union and donations from 10News employees and viewers.
