Cassie Carlisle is an Emmy Award-winning reporter excited to be working at KGTV in San Diego.
As a journalist, Cassie has covered stories that range from major crime scenes and snow storms to hanging out with the Globetrotters. While working at Scripps affiliate WMAR, she created the segment "Made in Maryland" highlighting unsung trades.
Cassie has also worked in Bakersfield as an anchor and Live Desk reporter. At KERO, Cassie got her hands on almost every job, trying out weather casting, sports anchoring, producing and editing. She won an Emmy with the 11 am team, leading the coverage in the Hwy. 58 Mudslide.
Outside of work, Cassie loves most outside activities: hiking, boating, and - maybe soon - surfing. She was a gymnast as a child, winning a bronze medal in the California State Games.
Cassie feels fulfilled being a journalist, hoping to help people through providing information.
