MIRA MESA, Calif. (KGTV) - San Diego Police are searching for a group of suspects they say beat up the host of a house party earlier this month.

SDPD said a group of four to six men entered the home in the 7000 block of Embry Point on July 1, after guests began to leave at the request of the host.

As the 80 to 100 guest dispersed, the group of unknown men showed up and fight occurred inside the home after the host tried to stop them from entering, SDPD said.

The host was beaten up and his wallet and cell phone were taken.

The suspects left the home in two separate vehicles, one believed to be a white, Mazda 3 sedan driven by an unknown female.

As the vehicle fled, it also struck a parked car on Embry Way.

Police described the suspects as black men, in their 20s. Two of the suspects had dreadlocks.

Anyone with information is asked to call SDPD'S Robbery Unit at 619-531-2299.
