(KGTV) - A missing Oceanside boy spotted leaving an Irvine area hospital alone Friday has been found.
Surveillance footage showed Michael Edward Roman, 12, leaving Kaiser Permanente hospital at 6670 Alton Parkway in Irvine just before 11 a.m. yesterday, according to Irvine Police Department.
Police said a family member of Roman's is a patient at the hospital, but left the hospital alone and has no known ties to the area.
IPD contacted local authorities to visit Roman's residence to see if he had returned, but he was not found.
Just after 8 a.m. Saturday, a member of the loss prevention staff at a Mission Viejo Target store recognized Roman from a social media post and reported it to authorities.
Roman has since been reunited with family and will return to Oceanside.
