NATIONAL CITY - During a drive on Thursday afternoon, Ileana Avalos says her 3-year-old daughter Sarina kept talking about playing in her sandbox. When they got home, Sarina immediately noticed the sandbox missing.
A stunned Avalos said someone might have taken it, leaving the little girl in tears. Surveillance video revealed the thief, a woman who casually and methodically dragged the sandbox - sand and all (even her bucket) - into her car.
