Lindbergh Field under Airport Weather Warning due to high winds

SAN DIEGO - The National Weather Service issued an Airport Weather Warning for Lindbergh Field Monday morning due to high winds.

"An Airport Weather Warning is in effect for San Diego International Airport for wind gusts of 30 knots or greater from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Pacific time) …," the NWS stated.

The National Weather Service also said: "Strong south winds of 20 to 30 [knots] will impact the San Diego International Airport today. Peak gusts of 35 [knots] are possible. The winds will shift westerly between 4 and 6 p.m. and lower to 15 to 20 [knots]."
