A San Diego flower vendor who was robbed, dragged and run over while selling flowers on Mother’s Day, was back on the job, at the same corner, with dozens of supporters from the neighborhood cheering him on.

Neighbors raised more than $2,000 for D.J. Musick, 48, who has sold flowers on the corner of Murray Ridge Road for more than a year.

Musick was robbed and dragged by men posing as customers on Sunday. The men got away with $70 and two of his flower bouquets.

The men held onto Musick’s arm as they sped off in the car dragging him more than 30 feet, before letting go and running over him.
