Mt. Carmel High School's Ashley Welch became interested in Yearbook her freshman year thanks to one of her gymnastics teammates.
"Yearbook is quite a bit of fun and although it can get stressful at times as an editor i think the most rewarding part of the year is getting the book as a hard copy."

This her senior year, Ashley has been working as yearbook editor. However, with the school year currently in limbo due to the Coronavirus, the yearbook staff has had to work from home.
"We've been collaborating with advisors, representatives, and other students in the class just to make sure we still meet this deadline regardless of the fact that spring sports were cut short and we are not attending school at the moment."

Ashley says while it's tough not being on campus, she and the rest of the yearbook staff have been making the best out of tough situation.
"One positive effect that it's had on the progress of the yearbook, is that we're constantly collaborating innovating and finding new creative ways to complete the book."
