Pat Mueller

KGTV - ABC 10News

Digital Executive Producer

Pat Mueller joined the ABC 10News team as a Digital Content Producer in August 2022. Pat joined us after leading the digital team at WCTV, the CBS-affiliated station in Tallahassee, Florida for three years.

In Tallahassee, Pat led the station's digital-first approach on stories of consequence for the audience in the Big Bend and South Georgia. Covering the funeral for Florida State Football legend Bobby Bowden, an alleged murder-for-hire plot on a college professor and recovery from the devastating Hurricane Michael were just a few of his memorable moments from the Sunshine State.

Before joining the WCTV team, Pat was a digital producer at KCEN, the NBC-affiliate in Waco, Texas. During his time in Central Texas, Pat covered President George H.W. Bush's funeral, a former Baylor football captain's not guilty verdict in wake of a rape scandal and a complex double murder case that crossed several state lines.

Pat graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2018, earning a major in Radio-TV Sports and a minor in Political Science. He covered a blackmail scandal leading to the governor's resignation for the school's NBC-affiliated TV station, KOMU.

Pat also wrote fact checks on politicians' statements for PolitiFact Missouri while in school. When he wasn't chasing a story, he was playing long stick middie for Mizzou's lacrosse team.

Pat is a Navy brat, so pinpointing where he is from is difficult. If he had to choose one area to identify with, he'd choose Washington D.C., since he went to high school in the area. Out of all the places he lived, Gaeta, Italy, was his favorite.

When Pat isn't furiously typing on the keyboard, he enjoys playing sports, watching movies and experimenting with new recipes!
