The YMCA revealed new details today about its plans to expand and improve in San Diego County, including a list of locations that have been targeted to get new new facilities.
New locations are expected in Carlsbad, 4S Ranch, Torrey Hills, Chula Vista and Pacific Beach.
The move is estimated to cost about $175 million.
But leaders are confident donors will step up when they realize the impact YMCA can make
Fundraising is already underway for the Pacific Beach location which would replace an existing smaller facility at the corner of Felspar and Ingraham.
