SAN DIEGO – A water main break sent water pouring into an intersection in Old Town Friday morning.
The break occurred on a construction project at the intersection of Juan St and San Juan Road sometime before 4:45 a.m.
The intersection was closed while San Diego Fire-Rescue crews responded. The water rushed for about 30 to 40 minutes before firefighters were able to shut it off.
No nearby structures were flooded. The cause of the break was not immediately confirmed.
