A San Diego man believes his truck was specifically targeted by vandals who painted swastikas on it.
Ptolemy Delorme says he was eating lunch with some loved ones at the Jewish deli D.Z. Akins. When they came outside, his truck windows were painted with swastikas.
“Huge swastikas," Delorme said. "I had to drive home with this, with my mother in the car.”
They are not Jewish, but Delorme believes his truck was specifically targeted.
“What I really think is that I had my pro Donald Trump sticker on my truck,” he said. "And the 'Hillary for Prison' bumper sticker."
Delorme also has NRA, 2nd amendment, Duck Dynasty, and "info wars" stickers on his truck.
“This is a hate crime," he said. "This is what this is.”
Delorme has his own message for the vandals.
“You’re cowards," he said. "I would love to see someone come up to my face. I would love to see somebody have the balls to do, to do something hateful like that to somebody like me to my face. I would love to see that.”
Although he called police, Delorme ultimately decided not to file a police report.
“Maybe I should have but I’m not the type of person to really make a big deal out of things," he said. "I don’t like to sue, I don’t like to make a big scene.”
10News also checked with D.Z. Akins to see if they had security video. The restaurant said their surveillance system was not able to capture any of the alleged incident.
