RANCHO PENASQUITOS, Calif. – A Rancho Penasquitos teen owes his life to a UPS driver who rushed to his aid after the boy’s pickup truck collapsed, with him underneath.

Last week, 17-year-old Cameron King was working under his 9,000-pound truck when it slid from the jack, pinning his head and neck.

King screamed for a full two minutes before a neighbor and UPS driver heard his cries for help. A nearby surveillance camera caught the incident on video.

“I was supposed to make a delivery a couple houses down, and then I saw him, so I just drove right past it, because I saw him flailing his arms up in the air," the UPS driver told 10News.

He sprang into action.

“I put the jack down, put it underneath the truck and jacked it up, and then his head popped out. I couldn't believe he was OK.”

King walked away with minor swelling and some tread marks to his face.

“It's a miracle, a miracle,” King said.
