Transparency Project
KGTV is working to provide transparency to investigations involving law enforcement officers in San Diego County. To do so, we have launched the KGTV Transparency Project. The project is creating a one-stop shop for the public to review law enforcement investigation files released under Senate Bill 1421. Part of our role as a news organization in this community is to hold people in power accountable while also helping to make sure the public is receiving the information they need to keep their families and friends safe. If you have information about a particular case listed in our database, a story idea or questions you would like to see answered, please let us know.
Have you had any interactions with local police officers/deputies?
If so, which department?
Would you summarize your experience as positive or negative?
Do you feel race/ethnicity affected your experience?
What do you feel officers/deputies and law enforcement agencies are doing well? (You can choose more than one)
Are you willing to share your story with us through an on-camera interview?
