Thankfully, he's able to smile about it.
"It's pretty fine," he said, laughing. "I'm fine."
Hobbs says he and a friend were down the cliff taking pictures at sunset when suddenly -the rocks beneath him gave way.
"We were filming a video we were making and I ended up falling in," Hobbs said. "when I felt the sea weed was wrapping around me and I started panicking."
Initially, 10News Reporter Anthony Pura thought the 19-year-old broke his leg in the fall. But Hobbs said he was lucky. He's walking away with a sore leg and a few scratches.
"Yeah...I should be dead right now," he said. "I'm grateful for everything."
