Three men were stabbed Saturday morning during a street fight involving more than a dozen people in Pacific Beach, a police officer said.

The street brawl took place at 1:50 a.m. at the intersection of Bayard Street and Garnet Avenue, according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.

The reason why the fight started was unknown this morning, Heims said.

When responding officers got to the scene they found the wounded men, Heims continued. They were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their wounds were not life-threatening.

There were no reports of any arrests and the suspects who stabbed the men were unknown, according to Heims.

The incident and stabbings remained under investigation.
