JAMUL, Calif. — Three young men had to be rescued from the Sloan Canyon after one of them reportedly fell injuring his head Saturday.
Rescue personnel located the three young men on the side of a hill on a large rock where they had become stuck.

The rainy weather impacted a Coast Guard helicopter rescue effort but all hikers were eventually brought to safety by the early morning hours of Sunday using ropes and pulleys.
