RANCHO PEÑASQUITOS, Calif., (KGTV) — A soon-to-be mom said a thief stole gifts she received during her baby shower Wednesday night on Calderon Road.

“My car was parked right here, and I noticed the glass was shattered,” said Amanda Olivias.

She said the thief broke her rear passenger-side window and took a bag full of new baby clothes she just received.

Olivias said she is expected to give birth to her first child, Sophia at the end of the month.

“As a mother-to-be in a couple of weeks, I just felt like who would do this to a brand new mom, I just felt very violated, very sad,” said Olivias.

She said she has since fixed the broken window but is worried about the damage left behind.

"I'm still finding shards, and it’s a little upsetting since we're having the baby in the backseat in a few weeks,” said Olivias.

She said the thief also got away with a laptop.
