An SUV plowed into an Oak Park apartment building Tuesday afternoon, causing no injuries but leaving two residents in need of interim housing.
The crash in the 1600 block of Pentecost Way occurred about 2:45 p.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. The front end the vehicle ended up inside the structure.
It was unclear why the motorist, a retirement-age woman, lost control of the SUV.
The American Red Cross was called in to help arrange temporary shelter for the displaced adult and child, fire department spokesman Lee Swanson said.
