David Haynes' brother Kevin spoke at the sentencing hearing, expressing his ongoing grief over his loss.  He said the victims' son had yet to express any remorse, and he wished Peter Haynes would remain in prison as long as possible.

Haynes also said other family members are concerned that Peter Haynes may one day be released from prison.
