SAN DIEGO (KGTV)--If you're in the market for a new car and you're a San Diego Gas & Electric customer, you could qualify for a $10,000 discount off a 2017 Nissan or BMW electric vehicle.
All you have to do is present a copy of your SDG&E bill along with the discount flier of your choice between a 2017 Nissan LEAF or 2017 BMW i3 plug-in model at participating car dealerships:
- BMW of San Diego in Kearny Mesa, located at 5090 Kearny Mesa Road, San Diego, 92111
- Any Nissan dealership located in SDG&E territory
The company said the discounts are on top of existing state and federal electric vehicle incentives, which could total another $10,000 in savings.

The offer expires Sept. 30, 2017 or until inventories run out.
