SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Several San Diego schools are asking students to not have food brought to them on campus via services like UberEATS.
An increase in students using delivery service apps prompted at least five San Diego Unified School District schools to send parents emails expressing their concerns over the issue and asking students to refrain from using the services.
The schools say one of the main concerns about deliveries from UberEATS or other companies is drivers are not authorized to be on campus.
The San Diego Unified School District does not have a direct policy regarding food delivery services.
