SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police arrested a man after he climbed up a billboard in Mission Hills Tuesday.
A Sheriff's Court services deputy saw the man on top of the billboard on Washington St. at Eagle St. at 1:30 a.m., said police.
Officers negotiated with the man, who was shirtless and barefoot.

After 30 minutes on the billboard, the man climbed down a ladder and was arrested.
Police said the man was wearing a hospital band on his wrist and said he had just been released from the mental health unit of a nearby hospital.
He was taken back to the hospital for evaluation, police said.
